A friend of mine is looking for songs saying I'm here for you and still like you, and I'm coming up blank. Any ideas?

This site has thousands of lyrics. Hope this helps. Air Supply has some really nice songs that say I'm here and still love you. I'm all out of love is a good one.

They are not listed on the site. Good luck.

Ok only one came to my mind pertaining to I'm here for you.
As for"i still like you" thats tough, I am a songwriter and that is just not a popular wording to me. If you asked "I still love you " -there is a million songs:)

Avril Lavigne Keep Holding On

Keep Holding On

You're not alone
together we stand
i'll be by your side
you know i'll take your hand
when it gets cold
and it feels like the end
theres no place to go you know I wont give in
no I wont give in.

Keep holding on
'cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
just stay strong
cause you know i'm here for you, i'm here for you
theres nothing you can say, nothing you can do
theres no other way when it comes to the truth
so keep holding on
cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through.

So far away I wish you were here
before it's too late this could all disapear
before the doors close, this comes to an end
but with you by my side I will fight and defend i'll fight and defend yeah yeah.

Keep holding on
'cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
just stay strong

There are quite a few H.I.M songs that have to do with 'I Love You'. Try 'Heaven Tonight', it has such lyrics as 'I hold your hand in mine', 'God I love you', and 'You are like Heaven Tonight'. HIM lyrics are pretty love-based, so try a few of those.
