Is it just me, or do some dating services seem like a scam or a trap?

I didnt even know these existed until now.

Is it just me or does these site scream SCAM/ TRAP. I have a gut feeling this is the ideal place to go if you want to be trapped in a porno/prostitution ring. If anyone saw the movie Human trafficking, they would know what i'm talking about.

Is it just me? Or is this a scam?

Here is another thing that doesnt sit well with me.

Why would men go upfront about what is in their wallet? It seems the men in there value themselves as to what they have financially and not about their personality etc. Seems like a big a$$ red flag to me.

Also the women on there. Suppose these women are wealthy, why would they resort to such a site to meet wealthy men when they should already be surrounded by wealthy men within their working environment and social circle.

The really are SCAMs and TRAPs. They offer up men who sound so wonderful, but these men are looking for "Barbie" type women. They are looking for "Trophy Wives".

If you receive few responses to your profile the sites have "lures"-men who work for the site-who contact you and keep you interested in the site.

Don't fall for these traps. Dating sites don't work for most people. Even the most trusted ones contain sick-minded people who only want to hurt you somehow.

i read somewhere that bigger companies like match.com hire attractive people to answer adds in order to entice clients to subscribe for an additional month. in some cases, actually arrange for them to meet and give the unsuspecting schlub some hope.
if that doesnt scream SCAM, i dunno what does!
i will see if i can dig around a little and find a link, but it is shocking how business creeps into our love lives.
