I can never finish one and when I'm almost done the numbers don't match.

There really is no "quick" way. Except for practicing and getting the hang of it.

the best way to get a hang of it is to start pennig all the numbers around just by making sure that there are no repetatives in the same row or coloums.. Use Excel and you can still break the hardest of sudoku puzzles. i have completed most of them from the book within 20 to 25 mins each.. so, try it.. it will work...

I always use a pen. Only fill in the boxes that you know are right. When you get to the point that you have to start guessing, then you can use a pencil. If you have to back track, you will only be erasing uncertain answers.

There is no "qick" way to finish a suduko puzzel. It took me almost two months of doing easy ones till i could finally do a medium one. My advice is to practice alot.
