Mine would be the 1986 Full Members' Cup at Wembley. Chelsea beat Manchester City 5-4 in 90 minutes after leading 5-1 with five minutes to go. The nine goals scored is also the most I have witnessed in a single game, whilst David Speedie became the first man to score a hat-trick at Wembley since THAT one by Geoff Hurst.

I have also read about a game in the late 1950s which saw Charlton Athketic 5-1 down and reduced to ten men (through injury, in the days before substitutes) with twenty minutes remaining, only to turn it around and win 7-6.

Highest scoring? 19-0 in an Under-11 game was refereeing ... ;)
In terms of senior football, watching Bedworth lose 2-0 after losing their goalie injured ... must have been a good 30 scoring opportunities that day! I'd rather watch a 0-0 with 10 chances each than a 3-2 where the ball doesn't go in the penalty area apart from the goals.

Newcastle 5 Leicester 4 circa 1989. We were 4 1 down with about 15 minutes left, then Mark McGhee turned on the magic, with the help of the pie eater Mick Quinn.

last saturday! Arsenal v Blackburn Rovers. Blackburn scored after 3 mins. but Arsenal went on to win 6-2 and, for once in the Premiership, it was a really good game.

Well, I personally attended a University of Virginia game that was 6-2 in the NCAA, but I thought the Arsenal/Rovers game was much more exiting.

Man Utd 3 WBA 5. We got beat but it was a great end to end game, it could have been a 6 all score line and there would have been no complaints.
