I recently found out that an old friend died a few years ago, but I was not told when it happened or how. I searched online and was able to figure out the exact date of death, but I cannot figure out what the actual cause of death was. Does anyone know of a site that can provide that kind of information for free?

You would have to order a copy of the death certificate. But it is not free.

Or contact the family and ask them.

Unless you are a family member it is unlikely that you will be able to find out. It also matters if an autopsy was performed at the time of death. Good Luck!

Every person who has ever died on the planet has died of the same cause....lack of oxygen to the brain.
