and go to work half dead, can' even get a break. What in the hell is wrong with the Government? They reward Welfare Hoes with 5 or more kids, by giving them FREE insurance, money, and groceries. What really makes me want to go postel, is the fact that I, pay for these bitches to stay at home, spread their legs for the next jackoff to knock them up. I know that there are exceptions to everything, but sometimes it just ticks me off. My son and husband were sick and I had to pay over $350 for their medicine. What's right about this???

Diana, I am not worried about sticking my foot in my mouth. It's just not fair that I work my self to death and I see someone that has no job and several children driving a brand new car and having all their medical and groceries paid for. I don't know what part of that you think is right, but from where I stand, you look like the idiot.

you are right. This crap really pisses me offffff. I can't stand it when people don't take care of the kids that the laid down and make. It's not the rest of the world's problem. Most of them don't even use that money on their kids. They use it for new clothes, drugs, big screen tvs, new cars, new shoes, etc. I have no problem for my money to go to those people who fell on hard times and really need financial assistance from the government. Those people should be helped. But I'm getting tired of money coming out of my paycheck because people want to sit at home and eat bon-bons all day. I have seen it first hand. I use to work at a grocery store and the people who use to come in their with their food stamps, looked 10x better than me. They had the latest shoes and clothes. Had jewelry in every place possible. If you can afford that stuff, than you can afford grocery. The government needs to put a limit on how long you can receive assistance and regulate on how the money is being spent better. This is a huge problem

Explain to me why anyone would want to hang out with you? My fiancee is a college student. I was not qualified for FASFA this year. I'll soon be informing my supervisors that I CAN work 40 hours per week, should they choose to raise the hours I already have. When and if you become qualified to attend college, you'll soon discover that it is IMPOSSIBLE to work full time while attempting to achieve a decent GPA, for most students. Unless you're Doogie Houser, I would bet that only 5% of any student in history has ever successfully maintained decent grades while devoting their time to any job. You know who I am, is that the impression of you I gather? Who's to say that I worked every job before my recent 4-month layoff at LESS than 40 hours weekly? If you've ever been to Whitehaven, a rest stop in Paducah, Kentucky sometime since September of 2008, congratulations, you've taken a dump in a toilet that I scrubbed ever so delicately for at least an hour, on night shift, at minimum wage, so that you may take a dump without flushing the john or keeping the tissue in the bowl, seeing as you are yet another disrespectful, self-entitled American, with NO respect for your fellow man. You want to keep telling us to find 40 hours per week in this recession? Why don't you move on to a more productive quest, such as finding a needle in a haystack, or a cigarette smoker who isn't destined for cancer. We may have folks who work part time, teach classes on weaving baskets, or making jewelry...but the funny thing is, seems like those people all do what they LOVE to do. And the part timers, well, that's work, isn't it? Who are you to tell me how one's American dream should be followed? What do you do for a living? I'd love to know, because I've just decided that it isn't good enough. Why don't you go off and spend your time doing something that I approve of, whether or not you feel it's your calling in life? By the way, ALL OF US deserve health insurance they can afford, and that includes you. You know, much the same way your grandparents are unquestionably using Medicare. People shouldn't have to face a credit record blown to smithereens, the loss of their homes, or even the loss of their lives, as a side affect of chemotherapy treatment. EVERY teacher who has ever lived, working from any level between K-12 and College/Graduate school has received the summer off, with the exception of their field allowing them to teach summer classes, at their own discretion. Just because you never valued the lessons you were delivered in elementary school and because you decided to ditch those lessons the first time your parents blocked every channel but FOX, doesn't mean you have any base in trashing any teacher alive OR dead as invaluable to this country. "Marxist" teachers? How do you earn a title like that? Would it have something to do with the teachings of such principles as 2+2=4? Good grief, why don't you get some fresh air. It would do you a world of good.

I pay my own insurance bill ($600+ a month my wife and son-not me at all) I don't want "free" health care from the government, I want less taxes.
I don't think I should have to pay more than 5% in taxes State, City, Fed all put together. 5% is much more than is needed.
But this wouldn't happen because Americans are a bunch of socialists that let their emotions act as a brain.
"I'm not an extremist" yes you are your an Abortion fanatic, that's why it always comes up with you.-Fanatic Promoting Abortion doesn't solve the problem, refusing to give certain people other people's money is the solution. Plato was right democracy degenerates to a money grab on the most productive members of the community.

The process for welfare is pretty messed up. The people that need the help do not receive it only because you get paid a couple of more dollars. I am a single mother of one child and trust me it is so hard to make it on your own when the baby's father is not around and does not pay child support. This is why so many young woman prefer to stay at home instead of working because if you only make a couple of bucks more you do not get enough coverage on insurance, medicines or even child care. For instance I was trying to get help with child care to go to school full time and work part time. I was not able to get help only because I made 50. dollars more than the required for two people (me and my son) So I had to work full time and forget about school for a minute. Thank God I have my family's help, so I moved back to the same town where my family lives this way they help me with my son while I'm in school. My point is for the girls that try hard to make it out of welfare is not easy. Of course this is my point of view.

First of all I am a Social Worker and the cases that you speak of exist in only 5% or less of the population on Welfare. Federal guide lines set up during the Clinton administration and continued and tightened even more says that a family can only be on Welfare for six year unless there are circumstances preventing it such as disability or sickness. And this must be documented. Further more, I know in the State of Kansas that births after the third child while on Welfare are not paid for. Research before you speak and wind up with your foot in your mouth.

I completely agree with you!!!
My sister and I were debating this very issue a few years back. She came up with an idea that I'm sure will infuriate some and amuse others. The more things get worse though I think she might be on to something.
Everyone should be sterilized at birth. That way in order to procreate you have to apply for approval and meet every criteria to successfully raise decent, loved, and completely wanted children. If your offended sorry!!
Maybe they can implement this once the NWO takes control!
Actually I'm not that much of an extremist but how do you get the populous to understand the rest of us are tired of financially supporting their children!!!
IF YOU CANT OR WONT SUPPORT THEM STOP HAVING THEM!!!

The thing right about this is that you take care of your family on your own. You don't depend on a government entity to be your safety net. In the long run, your family will be much better off.
Know why you vote for somebody, and understand why politicians wave welfare checks in front of people during elections.

Yeah its so lame, I remember when I took a course at college for heavy equipment, it cost me $8000 and the rest of the people in my class were sponsored by the EI office. So I have to pay because I quit my last job? there was 12 of us in that course and only 2 of us even got jobs from it. Its sad really, the whole system teaches you not to be a hard worker, there is absolutely no reward for getting up everyday and showing up on time, putting in an honest days work. Usually anyway.

What's right about this? Well, we have a government willing to help "some" people. That is something to be proud of I believe. The huge problem is that the government is quick to dispense aid and slow to do the due dilligence to find out whom is "deserving" and who actually deserves the aid.
But I hear what you are saying...getting into the system is very difficult because of the barriers to entry. People who are $10.00 over per week cannot qualify for WIC here in Texas so they miss out on literally hundreds of dollars of aid because of the $10.00 overage. I suspect that is the poor boat that you are in at this point.
It isn't right. There is no "right" or "good". It is what it is.
I think we need to start over on all public assistance initiatives and re-think our approach.
