Veteran's Day and Memorial Day ...

I love thanksgiving, the one time of the year everyone makes a big fuss just to sit around and eat together. Thanksgiving is awesome. I find it fun just watching people cook all day to show us how much they care through food. I'm not saying it's the only time we sit at the table with our families, but it is one of the best times. i mean gosh people really go all out decorating and making extra special treats on request. So yea Thanksgiving rocks.

Saint Patrick's Day. Because it's fun, low key, not allot of build-up attached to it, it's silly and people seem to still just be themselves and don't act ' charged up ' nice as some other holidays of Christmas, Thanksgiving, Saint Valentines, Easter etc. I enjoy all those and other holidays . . . yet the over the top attitude, busyness, just to impress gifts instead of simply ' just because ' gifts type holidays I find ' empty ' of authentic feeling.

So, to me Saint Patrick's day is simply fun . . . and I'm not even Irish.

Halloween. Just the feeling I get during that time. I loved Halloween as a child....dressing up in my costumes and going trick or treating.
