why am i always such an accommodating person? I hate myself.?

You are accommodating because you hate yourself and so you put others ahead of you. You need to look in the mirror and be able to love yourself and then you won't feel walked on so much if that is what your talking about.

I hope it is because you have the love of Jesus Christ in your heart. But most certainly, you should not hate yourself just because you help other people. That is what God expects us all to do; every chance that we get to do such. You should not hate yourself for any reason for that matter. You should be thankful unto God, that He has given you the desire to help other people. He most certainly will reward you for doing such. The Bible tells us to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Just pray that God will continue to give you the opportunities to help others. He loves you, and He will never let you down, in any way. When I help others, is when I feel as though I am being obedient unto God. When God tells us in Luke 6:38, to give unto others, and it will be given unto us, He is not speaking of only in a financial manner, but in any manner which we have the opportunity to give; money, time, help, or in any other manner. God will most certainly bless you for your help which you give unto others in any manner. May God continue to strengthen you.

You sound like a lovely soul and don't be ashamed of it.What hurts is when others take advantage of your good nature that is not your fault they shouldn't do it but I know where you are coming from its because you are good and kind that you are able to be hurt in the first place.Just try to hang out with others just like you Happy holidays and cheer up.

read the book "boundaries" by Dr. Henry Cloud. It will change your life and give you the desired balance in your life. You probably will need to order it on the internet. The question is do you want to change or just have a pity party?
