How do you feel when you see people drop out of high school and tell their teachers to buzz off?

What do you have to say about people who have no respect whatsoever for teachers?

Teachers are very disrespected and very underpaid. But not everyone who drops out is a total failure. Some people like me have uncontrollable problems at home that cause them to make poor decisions. I feel I was invisible at school. The troublemakers and bullies I can understand the negativity towards them but when you have a child that you can clearly see has much deeper problems...that one teacher that cares and makes a point to say something every once in a while can make a huge difference whether or not that child makes it. I had a lot of problems and quit in the tenth grade but I'm not flipping burgers.

I have a lot to say. But I also think "There's another one my tax dollars will be supporting for the rest of his life."

But I don't totally blame the drop out, although he is certainly making a huge mistake. It's sad. Somewhere along the way somebody failed him. He was once a laughing little baby....what happened along the way?

I feel bad for the teachers. they do the best they can to help the students. its so sad the lack of respect they all have for each other. but its their decision and they'll learn from it.

I usually don't "say" anything--I TELL them what kind of milk my son wants in his Happy Meal.
