"And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" is the name of a song written by Tom Eyen and Henry Krieger. It is featured in the musical Dreamgirls, in which it is sung by the character Effie White. The song is often considered the show's signature tune. The lyrics describe Effie's love, both strongly devoted and defiant. She refuses to let her man leave her behind. She boldly proclaims to him, "I'm staying and ... you're gonna love me."

In 1982, Jennifer Holliday, the actress who portrayed Effie in the original Broadway production, released the song as a single.
