That Would be Bill Murray with Lucy Liu,Cameron Diaz,and Drew Barrymore-
Perhaps You're thinking of City of Angels? Haven't seen that one...

In the movie city of angels, nicholas cage couldn't save meg ryan b/c he already took the plunge to become human so he wasn't an angel (no powers) anymore when she died, so therefore, he couldn't save her....plus he was too late as a human to save her

The movie is City of Angels not Charlie's Angels. I haven't seen it in a long time, but I think he saves her 'cause it wasn't her time to die.

it was actully the movie city of angles and he wanted to save her life! he was an angel that loved her and wanted to protect her, why would he allow how to get hit by a truck?
