Guitarists: Should I use Chamois to clean my guitar?

some have told me its a good thing to use, others say no.

If you have a newer guitar most are painted then clear coated just like your car. I prefer microfiber cloths. I also have a good coat of automotive wax on the body of the guitar and also the back of the neck. (Not the fretboard!!!!). Chamois is good for removing water droplets from your car and hopefully not from your guitar. Use a micro fiber cloth it works much better.
