my 4 y/o who was mad with me telling me she is excited that her daddy wont have a job soon,he's retiring, and that i will be working and won't be around to boss her or daddy around..and she sais this with a genuine mean ugly look on her face

I am a preschool teacher...I hear many funny things..but this was the funniest...
there were 2 children (3 year olds)...they were female....they had both just woken up from a nap. One of them was very afraid of thunder and loud noises. I was in the process of trying to get them ready to go outside.
The one who was afraid of noises kept asking me what this sound was. Our preschool was located in the bottom of a church hall building. The noise up stairs were the fact that the custodians were moving chairs and tables and they were dragging them across the floor making a noise that sounded like thunder. This child kept asking what that sound was..so I kept explaining to her that they were moving tables and chairs. Another child (little boy) even showed her by moving our project table..pushing on it...this little kid continued to ask me for about a half hour. I brought her upstairs to show her, etc.
We got outside and I told her to go play. She kept saying I can't play..there is "tunda"....Finally the other little girl came out (her friend)..the scared child asked her..."what's that sound?" and her friend who just came out and said "noise" and both children went off to play..like oh ya..it is just a noise..so simple..why did i make it harder then it was...lol

some 30 yr old guy in palm beach, fl carjacked someone, got lost driving it back and forth down i-95 (while also committing two hit and runs), then he finally stopped at a payphone and called 911 to report what he had done. the police later came and arrested him.

spent an hour watching people trying to pick up a half dollar that was obviously super glued to the pavement right outside of a door to a busy shopping center.

I was in Walmart with my children, looking at bonbons. My DS (12) said "Those are my favorites, chocolate covered bunions!"
