I agree with you...Plan 9 would top the list, but also Robot Monsters is a good one. That's the one where the "monsters" are people in gorilla suits with deep sea diver's helmets on!

LOL. No no, "Alexandria's Project" was the worst film I've ever seen. Seriously. Completely NOT what was described to me! (or what i read in reviews!) Shocked the mess out of me it did! I will admit that plotline was very interesting, and in certain ways it was done quite well with conveying it's message (she leaves her husband blah blah on with the emotional-marital drama) ... but erm .... how to say this, in certain points it was ... like "soft porn" (not that i've ever seen porn, because i haven't, honestly) but being i modest person that i am, i totally had to fast forward half of the movie!!! LOL. It was ... Interesting, good plotline ... okay i see where this is going and then oh dear! oh my! i totally didn't need to see that .. where's the bloody remote! ROFL. (Alexandria's Project is an Aus film.) Other than that, on my worst films list are Gone Fishin', Half-Baked and Napoleon Dynamite. Oh yes, and any American B movie involving aliens, mass murderers and women in stilettos running through the woods at midnight. :) I have not seen The Kovak Box though. What was it about? (I'll take your word for it though!!) xoxo ♥

I can't for the life of me find any info about this one but...It was on the sci fi channel a few months ago. Was basically a movie about the attack of killer sewer rats that had taken over a mental hospital. It was so disturbing, despite being fake and the rats looking like gigantic stuffed cats with beady red eyes, I still dream about it. It was really, really awful. Bad acting too. Especially by the rats. LOL

Oh yeah, anything made by Ed Wood tops the list.
Anything that Mystery Science Theatre 3000 can make fun of.

PLAN 9 is bad but it can be fun to watch (particularly with enough booze). ROBOT MONSTER on the other hand is painful and I defy anybody to sit through it if they can move at all.
By the way, that very bad rat movie referred to above was released both as RATS and KILLER RATS and yes, it stinks pretty bad.

I was just going to say the same thing -- maybe Santa Clause Conquers the Martains -- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058548/ with Pia Zadora -- there was a really bad remake of Lost in Space a few years ago starring Matt LeBlanc from Friends http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120738/

I agree on all the low budget turkeys listed...but I'd like to Nominate "Ultraviolet" with Milla Jovovitch as one of the worst most recent movies I've endured..

my husband says his worst sci-fi movie he has ever tried to see was " Mars Attacks" " Santa Clasue destroys Martians". It bored him to either turn the channel or go to sleep.

Gee, there are so many to chose from... "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes", "Mars Needs Women", "The Blob", and what list would be complete without "Barbarella"?
