... locking his widow out of their mansion on Christmas Day, hours after he died? I mean, how mean is that? I'm sure that is not what James Brown would have wanted. Even if the marriage papers are screwed up, they could have let her and their 5 year old son stay there until it was all legally straightened out.

I cant believe that there is no outcry
when ANNA nicole smith got kicked out of her mansion, people acted like she was put in the street
with this they seemed to really have been on the street
and no one offered them a room at the YWCA
unreal!
I bet james is spinning on the autopsy table right now

there are three sides to every story, the victim's side, the villain's side, and the truth. it would be best to stay out of such messes until all people involved are heard from. that being said, as a matter of manners and hospitality, no one should be locked out of their home on any night, especially with small children. as the Bible says, "do unto others as you would have done unto you.' or even as us Pagans say, "An it do no harm, do as you will"

i think it stinks and what papers did she have , showing she had the authority to lock her out. the 5 year old has the same right to a childs part. i believe in augusta ga. and their home was in a little place out of augusta called beach island south carolina . i live in augusta for 8 years and have seen the place. i think both states s. c. and ga. have common in- law wifes laws .if they they weren't legally married.

I didn't think it was the right thing to do.. even though they had a legal right.. There's two sides to every story though. Makes me wonder why they would do this. Pretty mean though on the surface.
