Hi guys. I got to do this reading project during the Christmas. It's little suck. Can you guys give me some good books and movies title?(But It has to include author name, year).And List at 1 or more paragraph about the story that you've told me. Help me figure out because the christmas almost over. Thanks

Go to Google and ask for "Second Hand Lions" It is a powerful movie for young men/boys and should please your teacher. Find out there what the story is about and where you can find the book or movie. Don't make us do your work. Or go to the Library and ask for their help...that is where the books are.

True Story.

This book is the accually diary of a girl named Nancy. In the beging she meets a man named Colin who halps her. She immeditly feels attraced to him. The only problem is that he says that he is 18 and she is 14.
They end up going out a few times, but then one time when Nancy's mom is out of the house he comes over for diner and they drink and he drugs her. Then he date rapes her! And he just leaves.
She doesn't tell anyone that she was raped right after she was. But soon after she started to get sick. She figured it was just because her Immune system was weak. But the Docter did tests and found out that she had HIV Human Immune-Deficiency Virus the un cureible diese that cause AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) And then she tells her mom about Colin. She called the police and they eventually catch him.
Throught the book she writes in her diary about the trauma of being raped and the strugles of HIV and the stress she feels when it devolpes into AIDS. You see her on her good days and her bad days.

By the end of this book I relized that this girl was alot like me. I relized AIDS can happen to ANYONE not just poor people in africa. This book was a real eye opener and I sugest it to anyone who thinks HIV/AIDS can't happen to them.




I think there is a movie for this book. I haven't seen it though. If you want to read it, its really short. It took me to days.

Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell in 1936

it`s about the war with the North and South. The yankees with Abraham lincoln. u get to see the perspective of a Sounthern woman. her life full of war, sorrow, bitterness,death,hunger,achingness,love,hate,and jeaoulousy. I loved it. It`s kinda long though.
