I don't know about anyone else, but while the Racists on this site state that Blacks are infesting the media with our music, news, and movies..I learn that Precious angelina will be playing the role of a Black woman in a movie. If this is true, then Blacks clearly haven't stepped up. Not mad at my girl, Angelina, but what are your thoughts?

Okay I didn't know about the actual woman being bi racial. But why darken Angelina up? Couldn't someone else have filled the role just fine? I guess I am glad I asked anyway for more info...

To the person who said "isn't acting being something you aren't?" It most certainly is, but in an era that still lacks Blackbeauties its no surprise we get passed up for a role. We never are the hero, or the damsel in distress- we can act too!

She's actually playing a bi racial role. Mrs Pearl, is black african, jewish, portugese and french.

I don't know what the big deal is. Didn't the Wayan brothers star as two white women? Actors and Actresses play parts of different races and sexes all the time.

Not a black or white role.
It's a bi-racial role.
Acting is playing something you're not.
(Also a multi-racial role.)

It's not a black role, she is playing a homeless single-parent rich woman. My thoughts, I hope they show her naked.

If Will Smith can play white parts...
I think you're being hypocritical, at best.
