If I can't find anything to do on News Years Eve, then my whole winter vacation will feel ruined! I'm looking for suggestions. Something that I can think back on Jan. 1, 2008 and say "yeah, that was fun!" Also, I have friends that are probably free that night (but none of us are old enough to drink, not that I would want to lol). So, any ideas?

I will give you this one--and you can do with it as you see fit---
One year (some time back) my little crew of misfits were out of ideas ourselves (which didn't normally happen)
But, as fate would have it, one of our mental-case friends came up with NEW YEAR'S MAYHEM--
We got no less than twenty people together for a little chips and dips thingy at one of the pals places and partied somewhat until about 11 PM when we loaded up everyone into vehicles and headed out to----of all places --- the local Denny's----where we all promptly drifted in one little group of three or four at a time and settled in --- everyone ordering something (cokes--fries--ect) ---THEN--at about one minute till midnight---one of the dudes (pre-picked)---Stands up---and starts--in a very commanding voice --to count down to ZERO HOUR--- when he reached the ten --nine -- eight thing Every one had joined in---And with the stroke of midnight -- everyone gets up and starts congratulating each other and giving new year hugs and wishing everyone in the place Happy New Year and even though it starts within the group itself-- in no time at all it has spread to the other people's tables in the place with folks hugging one another that don't even KNOW one another and it just got Crazy !!!! A couple of the folks had bought some really cheapy New Year's pins and started handing those out to everybody--- the waitresses were so stunned by it all that THEY began hugging customers and ---GENERAL MAYHEM was the order of the moment----I still look back on this little Staged Theatrical as one of the wildest New Year's moments of a life time---and at times wished we all had not had to grow up and become the old sticks in the mud that we have !!!!
