how to use speed dial?

i have a virgin mobile snapper
to use speed dial do i press "#" then the number

Ummm....will yoou please tell me what type of phone yoou have?? && If it's a sidekick2 than yoou go to where yoou call people and press menu and yoou will see new speed dail && then yoou enter their name and number and what number on speed dail yoou want them to be on...thats how yoou do that on my phone!!

I think that if you have a someone on speed dial #2 then u just press 2 and send. (when you press 2, you shouldn't be on some part of the menu, it's just like dialing a phone number only u press only one number)
