No It's not supposed to.
The swimbladder actualy helps it do something which I forgot what that was, but yeah it help the fish.

Peas are the best for swimbladder but take a day or two to NOT feed do a 50-75% water change. Keep water pristine ( clean as possible) and when you feed again DO NOT overfeed! But to answer your question no if you do this it will also help prevent it fom happening again keep the peas in your fishes diet once or twice a week.

There is a cure, not always working, but what the hay its worth a shot right?

Remember, Follow ALL steps, even if he gets cured.

1) do a 50% water change

2)don't feed him for 3 days

3)feed him chopped spinnach or peas.


repeat till the end! he may also had flipover, which can only be saved by a vet
