Do you pronounce it as "warsh" or "wash"? And also important, where are you from?

I am from Maryland and we say "warsh."

People that I know from the south tend to think that people from the north like to add letters to words :) I know people from New York do that sometimes.. although I can't think of a good example!
The main reason I ask this question is because my husband is from Missouri and he teases me to no end about the way I say it.

LOL I say "wash" but my dad and a lot of other people I know say "warsh". There's also "urnge" instead of "orange" and "purch" instead of "porch". I'm from Georgia by the way.

I think that's funny . I like to playfully tease a friend of mine who is from Oklahoma about that. I'll say " Yeah I'd be happy to warsh those dishes"
But it's wash ( w-ah-sh)

Most people say "wash." I had an aunt in Michigan who said, "warsh." That's because her family pronounced it that way.
