Of course you can, just make sure you stay within 2 color tones from your skin. Please don't go too dark, if you notice your cheeks look orange or cooper, then you have gone way too far!!!
If you want to give your face an awesome glow, try this... after you apply the bronzer along your cheeks bones dab a brush into soft pink blush and apply it only in the apples of your cheeks, make sure you apply only a very soft and light coat, and believe me, you will look sun kissed and amazing!!!!

The best is to use your skin tone matching foundation and translucent powder. Once you have flawless base, apply the bronzer with a full brush along your jawline instead of your blush. It will give you a subtle glow and it will look natural.
