The reason why I am asking this is because I feel if Saddam is hung he will become a martyre for all the wrong reasons.
Yes Saddam is an evil dictator and he deserves everything he gets in this life and the next life.
If Saddam is hanged then he will become a martyre to all those who support him and want him back in charge of Iraq (but his time is over.) and those who don't support him will celebrate his death.
I sadly don't think Saddams death will bring about peace in Iraq.

No for many reasons one being he will be a martyr for the cause in Iraq and there will be an escalation of the war because of it.

He is no worse than Pres. Bush. Bush has killed thousands more than Saddam ever did in Iraq.
He had nothing to do with 9-11

I could go on but I have made my point.

This is a matter for the Iraqi people, and their judicial system to decide, All the bleeding hearts in the world are not worth one of the innocent victims of his rampages against whole villages of people who were guilty of no more than being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Snapping of the spinal cord. no longer strangulation. There are 32 vertabrae interior the spinal column and that they are all separate products and are held at the same time with the aid of very solid cartliage. it is the cord interior the vertabrae that breaks and not the separate bones. Strangulation can in basic terms ensue whilst lynch mobs hold close somebody. it relatively is a experienced job because of the fact the noose might desire to be placed in a particular way on the fringe of the neck. dying is especially much on the spot. do no longer stay in this, all of us comprehend it style of feels barbaric yet merely think of of the depressing deaths the thousands of thousands suffered at Saddams behest. think of instead of Jesus and why we had Christmas

Martyre but an evil one. Do you think Hitler is a Martyre? According to your philosophy Jews should have forgotten Hitler, not to make him Martyre?
How do you remember him?

He's already a martyr to those who still support him. His death isn't meant to bring about peace, it is meant to punish him for his crimes against humanity.

Why do people suddenly feel pity for a horrible murdering dictator when he is being brought to justice?

no, because i do not believe in the death penalty. if the iraquis want to hang him, it is their decision. i think it would be better if he could go to some prison in china or something. not where he is having wonderful food and exercise and all the stuff he wants like books, paper and pen to write his crap. more like a 3X4 foot cell and food only fit for the pigs shoved through a slot. heaven forbid we give him a ticket to martyrdom.

What we want and feel is irrelevant. If the Iraqis want him hung, he should hang. It is up to them, not us.
