If you get remarried and have another child, will the expenses you have for your new child be taken into consideration when doing a modification of child support? I have a 13 year old and now a newborn. I was previously paying 50/50 for my 13 year old (who lives with me), but now I have a newborn with daycare expenses, etc. Will my portion go down for my 13 year old?

It will factor in.
Keep in mind, however, that mainly the child support order is between you, your ex, and the child. Yes, you may get some relief, but you aren't going to be able to "baby factory" your way out of support (not suggesting that you would, it's just people here get ideas, and some shouldn't be left alone with an independent thought for safety's sake).
My question for you, however, is how much child support are you paying in the first place considering the child lives with you? Is this merely an amount to adjust the lifestyle of the child with the poorer parent?

It is not suppose to go down because you have other children but the commisioner can take that into consideration. Why are you paying child support on a child that lives with you? That really didn't make sense that you are asking about paying child support on your 13 year old that lives with you. I live in Ky and when my 13 year old went to live with his father,(we also have another child together), the commisioner took into consideration that my ex now has another child with his new wife. It is not suppose to work that way but sometimes it does.

Are you sharing IQ points with others? No... you can't discount one childs' life because you have more kids. If you had two cars would one get better gas mileage than before just because you bought a second car? If you had two TVs would one get less channels than before? No...no...no

ummm....NO

The first child gets first consideration. The courts do not give you "credit" for having a second child. Why have one if you can't afford it?
