Alexander Graham Bell is credited with the invention, but it was only because of faulty communication that for years he was believed to have said "Mr Watson! I'm Queer" when actually he said that "Mr Watson! Come here." Historians now believe the gays were invented by Eli Whitney many years before.
There is little debate though that Frederick Zepellin invented the fist lesbians, the original model was discontinued when a german lesbian exploded over Lakehurst New Jersey. Since then all lesbians have been filled with less volatile material.
Bisexuals were first invented by the people at DuPont, about the smae time polyester was invented, with pretty much the same wrinkle free qualities.

You are messed up! No one invented anyone! At one point a man had sexual feelings for another man. And a woman had sexual feelings for a woman. Does it really matter who you love as long as they respect you and love you too? What kinda phucked up question is that? Some one invented a robot but they don't have feelings, noone can "invent" something that has feelings. You are shallow and steriotypical.

Obviously straight people "invented" homosexuality. Who else would have bothered to mark the difference linguistically?
"It" is not messed up at all. You just need to stop seeing yourself and your perspective of ignorance as the center of the universe. If you think the world revolves around your values and opinions, then you had better be prepared to be very unhappy for a long time.

Sexually preferences--better described as chemically balances in the brain--cannot and have not been "invented". It is, as I said above, a chemical balance.
