Chihuahuas because they are small, smart, cute, cuddly, loving, loveable, wonderful little lap dogs. I have owned dozens of breeds in all my 50+ yrs and of all the breeds I have known and loved, none can hold a candle to a chihuahua.

I have a Poodle, but I actually don´t like them that much (though I love my dog).
My favorite breed is the Airedale Terrier, they have the right size and they are really cute dogs.

Ive had several breeds and must say my favorite is the good old mutt, The kind you can pick up at the pound, The bad thing about pure breds is that there is so much inbreeding that you end up with alot of problems

Aussie Terrier. Lovely loyal dogs, great for a smaller back yard.
My late partner and I took care of a Rhodesian Ridgeback/ Great Dane cross for 6 months. Nearly wore us out exercising it. Lovely dog but ate and "went" far too often.

I like my dog, but I don't know what breed she is. I'm pretty sure that she's mixed, though. I guess that's not actually a breed. But there isn't the risk of inbred genetic deformities.

Akita. We had an Akita named Buddy. He was so beautiful. Mostly Silver and white with black and a bit of light brown on him. Beautiful dog, but sadly they have a lot of health problems.

Chihuahua because I have one and he means the world to me. I also like golden retrievers because they're loyal, friendly dogs. I used to have a golden but we had her put to sleep; she was old and we didn't want her to be in pain.
