YOUR LOCAL GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY WILL NOT ONLY LITE IT FOR YOU THEY WILL CHECK IT FOR SAFTY. THIS IS THE BEST.

Pull off the bottom panel, you will see a grey valve with a red cap
turn the red cap to "PILOT" , strike a match and put it by the pilot light - then press the red cap (or Button) down and hold it for at least a minute after the pilot lights. release the button and then turn the red cap to "ON". The main burner should come on.

ALSO look on the back of the bottom panel cover for additional instructions. GOOD LUCK

Call the Gas Co. They will come out, check to see if the unit is clean(gas orfices) and light it for you.It'll cost you about 0$.They do it for free!

U can check whether the battery is low in the heater. These batteries is to start the spark for the heater's fire burning.

The gas company will do it at no cost to you. It's better to be safe.

open the bottom and turn the knob (red) to pilot, push it in and put a flame to it, hold it in for 2 minutes and then release and turn to on position. if the flame goes out when you let go of the bottom repeat lighting and holding the button in until it stays lit.
