My uncle is not blood, he is my stepdads brother. He is 36 and I am 16. Me and him have spent many wonderful hours together going fishing, and he takes me to game rooms and to the movies and we talk and talk and laugh. We kissed one time, but we both know that we are in a difficult position so we have not gone any farther than that. My best friend has accompanied us at times and him and her started talking and flirting around. My friend says that he is really cute but she won't mess with him because she knows how I feel about him. But, he told me the other night, that he did not want to hurt me but that our relationship would never work because the family would not accept it, and that he is in love with Candy( my friend). I do not know what to do! I feel heartbroken. It makes it even more difficult because he lives with us. I think that if I just take the step and have sex with him maybe I can change his mind. What do you think?

i don't doubt that your uncle is a good person, but he's clearly got some issues that you must be aware of if you really think about it.
sometimes younger girls and older guys get together and just click, that's life and it does happen. but it seems to me that this 36 year old man has had a 'thing' with you and then moved on to your friend. that isn't a coincidence, it's a pattern. so consider the possibility that your uncle is a sexual predator and be wary.
then theres the age gap. the number of years themselves are of no great importance, you said you guys get on great to talk and have a laugh. but you are in such different areas of life. he is an adult with adult friends and responsibilities. you are 16, in school?), with 16 year old mates. how would your lives intertwine? do you want the same things?
and finally..... never sleep with someone to make them like you. he says he likes your friend, sex with you wouldnt change that. it would just make your life more awkward, living with him, and you'd be upset with yourself when it went wrong.
accept that you can have a laugh with him, as a niece would with her uncle,and nothing more. then a wonderful someone else will come along soon enough and you'll cringe and wonder what it was that you ever saw in uncle whatshisface... :)

Sweetheart... Inlove? I think you're inlust because he's touched you in ways that he is not suppose to. Your uncle is sick... however I can see that you don't know this yet. No man of 36 should be messing around with a girl your age. - He's a loser and why doesn't he have his own place by now? You would be going no where but down hill if you decide to have sex with this man. - Go out and get yourself a young stud. Besides he'll probably last longer.

Do you want your uncle to go to prison? You need to leave this man alone. He ought to be ashamed to be messing around like this. And you should be also. You need to reject this temptation. You will be hurt very deeply. This will go nowhere. You are deceived if you think that anything but heartache and destruction can come from this. You need to talk to your stepdad and mom about this and get this man out of this house. NOW!!! Stay away from him. DO NOT be in the same room alone with him.

First of all, that's illegal!!
Why on God's green earth would a 36 year old want a 16 year old other than he's a sick sick and highly immature man?!!?!?
I'm guessing that he lives with you because he can't get his own life in order... which should be your first clue...
I had a friend who went through something like this... stay away from this man! You will always regret going any further!!

hmm your 16 he's 36, that's called rape.... even if he said you wanted to. believe me i know, i was 15 when i had sex with my friends dad, he got in a lot of trouble, even though i said i had wanted to and that i didn't want anything to happen to him. i think you need to move on and get over him. but if you cant then go for it but be careful.
