I've been playing guitar for about 4 years now and i really want to start jammin with some friends i know some one who wants to be the drummer but his mamma won't let him isn't there like some kind of place for peeps like me who play all by them selves longing for a partner in musical crime?....man that sounded bad....

Place an ad in a newspaper like the Phoenix , an alternative paper, which caters to musicians, college kids and the like. Say something like this - Execellent lead guitarist on par with Eric Clapton looking to join a band or just jam. It's that simple. Good luck!

If you're serious about it you can put up flyers. I'm pretty sure there are websites also that will match you with what you need. If you go to school join a music club and find some mates there. It really depends on your situation but if you want it bad enough you can get one together. Good luck!

how to make a band:
first you get a bowl. add 1/4 singer
1/4 guitar player
stir for abut 3 min
add bass player
then slowly pour drummer
into bowl. mix util jagged.
put into oven for about 8 hour and presto you have a band for best result add great lyrics and music abilities.

just ask around. if you have a friend who says they know someone who is a decent drummer or bassist or whatever get their number or email and contact them.word of mouth is a great tool.
