Depends which part of Texas you will be in.
The panhandle is showing a snow storm for the weekend.
The temps could be any where from 40s to 60s in texas during the day and 20s to 40s at night for New Years Eve.

It really depends on where you'r going. You can dress in a formal gown or very casual. Just make sure you're clean & comfortable.
