When creating a new family in the Sims2, is there any way to give that family more money ?. Because all the families that I made, they all have $20,000 to start.

You have to move the family into a home first. While they are moved in you press CTRL+Shift+C and then type in "kaching" for 1000 simoleons or "motherlode" for 50000 simoleons. Then you can save the lot, move them out, and then move them into a more expensive home.

You must make a family home first than only you can make a family.....

sure try pressing shift and c and when a box comes up at top try typing motherlode. if this doesnt help then you can google sim2 game cheats.
