i buyed a visa gift card in wallgrens, and now when i try to use it, it says that its still no activated, how can i activate it?
can i do it online?

its faster if u call but can be done online at the web address on back of card.

Yes, you can do it online.
You must sign the back, for one. I suggest you go to the Visa Website and go to Customer Service. Give them a call and talk to them.
With Visa, you need to call the number given to you on the card. When you bought it, there should have been a sticker on the front. If you peeled it off, go online and get the number, if you didn't get one with a sticker, return to Wallgreens.
My question is, why would you spend money + tax on a Visa giftcard, and then use it? Wouldn't it completely defeat the purpose?

typically with gift credit cards you need to call an 800 number to activate the card.
Look on the back of the card for a customer service number and they should be able to get your card ready for use.

call the # on the back of the card. BTW, check out their rules about spending, etc. a lot of them nickel and dime you with little charges..i.e. if card isn't active within a few months, they start to charge a $5/month fee, etc....
