Ipod help???

i use lime wire and now my Ipod says it is corrupt, but it wont reset. It always comes up as an error. Should I send it to apple? How long does it take to get a new one? is there anything else I can do?

It says my ipod is up to date, and wont let me update it any more. the thing still comes up as "ipod service cannot be connected" whats apples # or email that i can use to contact them

Try connecting it to itunes and resetting it using the updating software. That should format it and fix any problems, if that doesn't work, try calling apple,but don't let them know anything about pirated music.
