If her mom abuses her, probably she would not let your friend go. She has absolute control over her. You can try but I doubt if you will be successful.
Call Social Services and tell them that you want to remain anonymous. You are helping your friend. That speaks very highly of you. I congratulate you on taking the right step.
You can visit your friend there often. After about 1 month of investigation, be prepared. Social Services may bring charges against your friend's mom - depending on the kind of abuse she went thru - sexual, verbal, physical, mental or otherwise.
You may be forced to testify against her in a court of law.

If she's being abused and you love her, you should call, but if that's the case they will take her away from her mom, why don't you try to visit her more often and make sure that she really needs your help. you always have to see the both sides of every story, that way you can also be close to her mom, and then you can ask her if your Friend can spend a few weeks at your house. may sure is OK with your parents.. take care!!

You can call social services. That is you friend and you truely care about her. So I think that you should do what is best. Just talk to your parents just to see if she can live with you for a while. Her mother might understand what you are talking about. You just have to keep her in your prayers praying that nothing drastic will happen to her.

If your friends mother is abusing her then your friend would be put into foster care. Staying with you for a few weeks isn't going to do much to help her. If her mother is guilty of abuse your friend is going to need a place to live for longer than just a few weeks. Maybe until she is an adult.

Please call if she is being abused. She will most likely be placed with her relatives or what is known as respite care (a type of temporary foster care placement that last for a few days to a few weeks) until things are situated.

well if you know that this isnt just your friend saying her mom abuses her just to get attention then jou should either call, or ask ur mom to talk to your friends mom, or to call for you. if you called you couls say: " hi, id like to report an abuse" and tell them your evidence ask them to help, and they most likely will- even if they dont want to, they have to for reputation

Yes. If she is being abused, phone them. But be aware that your friend might be VERY angry with you and not speak to you for a while/forever. I've been there. My friend no longer speaks to me, but at least she is safe.
