I'm from Oklahoma, the five civilized tribes were moved there after the Louisianna Purchase. Its pretty simple, the white man had a paper that said he owned the land and sent them to Oklahoma(the Indian Territories). The Indians believed the title because they already had the Cherokee Alphabet. So, they offered no resistance and moved. And the Trail of Tears was where many of them died. Moving to the Indian Territories.

When Npapoleon sold Louisiana to the US(1803)for $15000000. This purchase doubled the size of US.
This opened vast tracts of land for colonisation. These new settlers regarded the indian tribes as savages.Thier(indian)land was confiscated.Thier food(buffalo)source was exterminated to make way for sheep and cattle. The indians were put in reservations.
During the war of 1812 the british tried unsuccessfully to force the US to set up an indian territory

Like all the rest of the Indians in the USA...they got screwed!

The US government has NEVER kept a single treaty they made with the Indians. The government cheated and stole everything they had and in many places even stole their culture by not letting them practice their culture or even language.

But then the US government is good about not living up to treaties. They never lived up to the ones made with the south either when they were brought back into the union after the War of Northern Aggression (a.k.a. Civil War)

the French were already allied with the canadian natives as well as many in the states, they were not displaced too much for then it was a port of call and mostly for import and export. The lands that were purchased by America made it a state, and many more French were displaced more than the American Natives, that was one point in history where the Native was not slaughtered. Thank goodness

Im native american and dont really have much to say on that subject. K there is really no history of native american origination. The mexican are descendant of spanish. but Native Americans are just that. There is no genology record. Aztecs too. I have never found a book that could explain our origin. Seems to be a mystery.Psssht! dont pay attention to school taught history. Jeeze. I was taught Christoper Columbus was a hero and discovered america. Sure... He freaking killed the Aztecs for gold. He had no clue where he was and ended up in Mexico. and moved from there.

the lousiana territory allowed for expansion westward and when this happened, inevitably indians were going to pushed farther and farther out of their native lands....there was agression from both sides but the indians were never strng enough and obviously due to america's self righteous racist attitude at the time, they felt as if they had an inherent right to the land...
really for a fully detailed answer to this you must do some research...becasue it is much more complicated than that and to explain it to you all here would take me hours and too much space!

the louisiana purchase affected the indians because it took away from the land they already barely had. And they were reduced to living in Oklahoma as you can see. And always being betrayed.

It didn't. There weren't any 'American-Indians' at that time.
