I know that he is not cheating on me anymore but it just takes my anger to a whole new level if I see her somewhere and I say something like I will punch that ***** in the mouth and here he is taking up for her. All he needs to be doing is agreeing with whatever I say about her or say nothing at all.

You said he was not doing it anymore. He takes up for her because he is caught in the middle. I am sure he does not want you arrested for assault, which is what that would be. Ask him Why? he does not take up for you. If he was smart, he would not say nothing at all. Maybe you should give it a rest for a while, he is probably tired of hearing it.

Your problem is your husband not the other woman. No one can make you do something you don't want when it comes to affairs. I have never understood why women blame the other woman and still sleep with the man that betrayed them and had an affair regardless of the pain he knew he would put you through. I have had boyfriends cheat I know what it feels like but I was wise enough to see if I was respected and loved the man would not have wanted to risked our relationship for an affair. He doesn't need to agree with you because you don't need to be talking trash about the other woman. You were not there you do not know what he said to her or what went on. The fact is your Man lied to her and probably said a lot of things that would make you gasp. If you can forgive the self centered man that betrayed you. A man that cared more about himself then you .... you certainly can forgive the other woman who by the way only fault .....believed the same man you married....

I would feel like a DIVORCE
bad enough that he cheated....but to further defend her would be a bit too much.
But to be fair, you need to be angry at him too
Why punch her when your husband was the one who violated his vows, NOT HER!
Maybe deep down inside he feels this way too and your anger scares him because he thinks that when you finish beating her up you will start on him...also, he probably told HER about your temper or something else that requires that he keep you two from ever talking.
YOU ARE RIGHT TO HAVE THE FEELINGS THAT YOU HAVE! Talk to a counselor SOON, dont let her (or him) have that much power over yoru life!

Well how do you know he is still not cheating with her anymore? Once a man cheats and gets away with it, so it seems with you, he will do it again. Just give him some time. Why do you think he is taking her side. SO I would watch him close becasue if he can he will cheat again.

my husband is the same way but it is with his babys mom and he sleep with three years before we were married but we where together at the time his son is 8 years old and nothing but a problem in are marrage and his mom is nothing but a hore

she wasn't the one who married you, he is. you should want to knock his teeth out. not hers.. if she hadn't slept with him he would have just slept with someone else. she just gave him what he asked for. no he should not take up for her, but if you are going to keep him after he cheated on you then he probably thinks he can do you anyway that he pleases. good luck.

I know how you feel. My wife said I was mean when I wanted to kick the other guys butt. Mean?!?! I'd say that what they did was mean. I think it's a lack of respect.
