The girl that was in <333 withCloud,was her name Aeris or Aerith???

Some people say Aeris&some people say Aerith!Im pretty sure its Aeris.

Here's what I previously stated:

Her name is an anagram of "I Earth".

If it's named in Japanese, she probably would be named as "Chii" (Earth + I). ;)

Her name is spelled in katakana as "E-A-Ri-Su".

The Hebrew word for Earth is "Erets" or "Erez"


The North American demo for Final Fantasy VII spelled her name as "Aerith", however in the final version of the North American version her name was spelled as "Aeris". However, the game accepted any name inputted as her name.

I wouldn't inputted her name as "Maaya" though, "Mimi" and "Maria" on the other hand would fit fine.

Like the previous answer said, US version is Aeris, and Japanese is Aerith.

On a side note, most of the FAQS/Fanfics i have read call her Aerith, maybe the US is the miniority on this one?

They're both. Aerith is her real name and her name in the Japanese version, but Aeris is her name in the English version of FF7. But you can use both names.

Aeris isn't that undesirable of a reputation. It sounds rather, and regularly women don't get picked on for their names besides. i does not provide a boy a video game character call, although. "Aerith" purely seems such as you have a lisp. in basic terms wannabe-jap human beings spell/pronounce it that way.
