a train is 3/4 miles long. it's traveling upto a bridge at 39mph. the bridge is 1 1/2 miles long. at this speed, how long will it take the whole train to go completely over the bridge. show how u arrived at your answer...provide details to aid me understand the problem

add 3/4 mile ot the 1 1/2 mile bridge because you are measuring how long it takes for the last part of the train to cross. then see how long it takes to travel 2.25 miles at 39 mph. there is your answer.

1.5+.75=2.25
39/60=Speed per Min
.65per min * 2.25 length
Speed*Destance=
