i need more songs for my ipod.

Copy rights die out 50 years after the author/artist died. so, unless your an Avid Classical Listener, no free music is legal.

however if you use Limewire, Kazaa or any of those other p2p file sharing programs, you can download any music for free if you have an original copy of the music. you can also use software like itunes and napster to pay for music if you are just downloading singles.

You can't find free songs anywhere that would be legal. Since you don't own the rights to the cd, it is illegal.

Go to the store and spend your money on the cd. You would be supporting that artist if you did, rather than ripping them off.
