I have a couple of experiences at my dads house and everyone else related to his side.People lived in the houses before they moved in. They were biult sometime in the 1600s.

If lost souls were able to contact you, there would be no way of knowing how they do it without asking them.
However, there are some people who claim to know how to contact them, and they call themselves "mediums" or "psychics." I have serious doubts about their abilities because they never seem to be able to pick winning lottery numbers for themselves and say "Oh, it's because I can't be psychic about myself." To me, that translates to "I'm a lying con-artist."
I believe those people tell others they can contact the dead because people will pay a lot of money for that service and they can pretend their way through it by observing the person. For example: A person with an Irish name and a cross around his/her neck will likely have Irish and Catholic family members with Irish and Catholic names -- "I'm sensing somebody by the name of Daniel or Danny. I also see a few Johns, and a couple of Michael's. They love you and they're with you." Yeah... big whoop.
I don't believe they are able to contact the dead, but they are able to make a lot of money pretending to.
If there are spirits that are able to communicate to the living, they will likely do it directly. They will say "Hi Snow, how's school?"

I dont know for sure but ask bill gates to build a "spirit search" into the next windows

There are no lost souls walking the earth. There are demon spirits though and it forbidden in the Bible to attempt to talk to the dead.

Numerous ways . . . hearing them, seeing them, etc. You have to tell them to "go to the other side". They don't realize they're dead.
