Once. I work in the hospital cafeteria, and I got a huge sudden headache so I went to the ER. My boss knew I wasn't faking because he came down to see me, and I was all hooked up to an I.V. and doped up with painkillers and headed to the MRI.

I took 3 hours off this year to get 4 stitches in my leg from a work injury. (and I went back to finish out the day)

3 days in a row and I was sick, of coarse it is the end of the year and I still have sick time and Vacation time left.

No fakes. I have Sarcoidosis..it keeps me out with colds and flu syptoms several times a year. I have an understanding employer.

I am a SAHM so I cant call out sick. I have to work no matter what. "oh sorry kids cant feed you or take care of you today I am sick" lol. Doesnt work.
