if I listen to their sales demo. I checked the BBB and they have a satisfactory rating, but I find it hard to believe about the shopping spree (it's some kind of catalog). Anyone with any knowledge or experience with this company?

It's an opportunity for their salescrew to get into your home or to put you through a sales pitch at their store. If you don't t have the thousand or how every much they want to sell the vacuum to, then it isn't worth the sales pitch. And the shopping spree is their catalogue probably. Don't do it. They are ruthless.

I bought a Rainbow long ago and just stopped using it. I need to get parts that are expensive so I tore out my rugs and put in tile. I like it much better.

They are extremely expensive but I used mine and got every $ back in service. I like the fact I never had to buy bags (saves big $ in the long run) and the dirt is captured by the water so it is trapped permanently. You can just run it and it will pull the dust out of the air. You can see the fuzzies floating in the sunlight just disappear. Also you can put a scent in the water. Mine came with a sprayer that they suggested you could spray your plants. I sprayed wood sealer on my wood fence with it many times. It did an excellent job of pulling the dirt out of my rug. The only problem I ever had is the motor that turns the brush in the head burnt out rather quickly and I believe that the repair place switched heads with me because the one I got back was loose.

Check online. I'm sure Rainbow is online and you can comparative shop. Even with $500 deducted, I'm sure one is very expensive.

ok, but how do you know you get really a call from real rainbow company? there are a lot of phishing out there. how did they get your number anyway? did u particpate with them before? you can check your emails sometimes there are bunch of spams and phishing using names of famous or little famous companies. just BE AWARE. and think how you would benifit, and remember this, believe it "too good to be true" then it is a scam

This is a ploy to get into your house to sell you a vaccum cleaner. Trust me on this because I was working as a vaccum salesman many years ago.you are better off staying away from him.

Sounds fishy.. I suspect that it is a sales gimmick for which they should be put in jail for but are allowed to run loose and trap people with their sales junk.. Just be careful

Anytime you put "rainbow" and "vacuum" in the same sentence it seems pretty ghey. I think they are trying to suck you off if you are a dude.
