Is Sony about to or going to make a new PSP device? If so, when?

Current rumours suggest that it will be unveiled during the first half of 2007 with a launch in the second half of the year.

The PSPs new features could be anything and I suspect they would be more likely to move the PSP in line with the PS3 and aide the connectivity between the two.

I've heard rumor a new one. the current one seems to be just fine though right now. they might want to wait a couple years before launching psp2.
