The first day of my last period was dec.8th. I think i picked the wrong day to mess around with my bf.It was Dec.23rd. which im pretty sure was at my most fertile time. As the story goes, we didnt use a condom and he ejaculated inside me. Im not scared I just wanna know if im pregnant, but im not sure if its too soon for a pregnancy test. And Im really not worried im kinda hoping im pregnant(in a way)...ive already gotten excited about and so has my guy. Tomorrow im getting my blood drawn at the doctor but its not to find out if im pregnant its just too check my blood but maybe they can find out through that. I need help....oh and my period should be coming by the 7th or 8th and ive already started getting sore..so im confused.PLEASE HELP..THANKS.

Normally , yes you would have been in your "fertile" time, but not all women ovulate the same. What you know are the "normal" parameters for ovulation. Yes a blood test can tell you this early if you are pregnant. It measures the amount of beta-hcg in your blood stream and is elevated when pregnant. Some over the counter urine tests are highly sensitive now and can detect this early. On the blood test, they can sometimes show a false negative if there is a tubal pregnancy, but those are rare. I am a trained medical lab tech.

you probably are because that's the same way my cycle works and i used the ovulation calculator on babycenter.com and it told me that dec. 23rd was the end of my most fertile days but then again you couldn't be just wait until jan 8 if it doesn't come by jan 15 then go see a doc to get tested (blood tests are better) good luck and that blood test that you're going for will probably not detect the pregnancy hormone yet just wait till the 15th and if nothing happens then go get tested

they should be able to tell from your blood but it takes a little while for the labs to come back. a pregnancy test normally doesn't come back until you are late for your period. i took one a couple of days before my period and it came back negative and then i took one 5 days after i was supposed to start and it was positive. good luck. oh and the soreness could be in your head, im not saying it is but we can work up all kinds of things.

it's hard to tell. just be patient and wait for the blood, or ask your doctor. so you are saying 8 is the last before your period, and I think it is less likely, but not sure. and still possible.

a blood test will say no its too soon.... wait for a blood till the 3 rd and yes you were ovualting at that time or just take a urine test the 5th

you should take a pregnancy test two weeks after the day you think you became impregnated
