My first marriage was a physically and mentally abusive marriage. My second marriage was sort of our of necessity. (my daughters father) I didnt really love him, it was more like gratitude. Then I met the woman of my dreams. Yes, woman. I am happier now than I have ever been in my whole life. She has shown me what true love really is. She is there when I need her. We are both disabled and neither of us work. We have been together nine years now, and married for just over 5. In all this time, we have spent only three nights apart. Since I became disabled 6 1/2 years ago, we have been together 24/7. When you find the right person, you will be truly happy. My advice, if you are being abused, take the step and leave. That way you can get on with the rest of your life, and find your soul mate.

For the most part, no relationship is ever perfect or perfectly happy all of the time, but if there is actual abuse I would sincerely hope that the one who is being a victim of it will get out fast.

Of course, I'm very happy. I wouldn't be a part of an abusive relationship.

i have been with my boyfriend for over 2 years, and we are very happy together. Neither of us are abusive to each other. We moved in together about 7 months ago, and out love grows everyday. Of course we argue sometimes, but we are both able to reason through it and get over it. I have never been happier with anyone in my life.

14 years and still happy. A few ups and downs but that is life. The biggest problem is the kids but they are about out of the house.

I am not in an abusive relationship. For once in my life, I'm in a very happy, healthy relationship. My boyfriend loves me and respects me. I feel like a princess when I'm with him (I don't want to be queen...being princess is more fun!). I love and respect him too.......its wonderful being with someone emotionally healthy......

I'm Happily Married! We've had our very difficult times, but they have been isolated times. We profess our love for one another and don't have the extreme relationship difficulties others seem to have here.
I wish there was a section for just marriage at Yahoo Answers... maybe it wouldn't be so depressing...
