I read manga that has been translated into English, because I don't know Japanese. I'm not really picky, I just don't know where to look.

Unless you really want to buy, have you checked your local library to see what graphic novels they carry?

Go to your local comic book store and ask for help finding what you want.

Also look for the magazine "Previews" published by Diamond Comics. It is a trade publication with release dates of upcoming comics. The comic book store will gladly order the books for you. If not, you will at least know when the books are due in at your usual store.

If your city or a nearby one has a Chinese nightmarket or a Chinese market at all go there. My daughter collects manga stuff and she goes to the Chinese nightmarket with her dad in Vancouver and gets all kinds of excellent manga items - books, videos, posters, figurines etc. and she gets them for cheap, cheap cheap. So anyways, check it out if you can
