I would pack my backpack and tent and move out to the woods. There are many camping areas across the country that allow free camping, and if you are a good bow and arrow shooter, you can hunt for your food and cook it over the campfire. When the weather gets too cold or too hot you just pack up and move to better a climate as long as their is a food and water source. You can drink water from a fresh stream typically if the water is cascading along a waterfall then at the bottom the water has been naturally purified. No need for a shower as you can bathe in the fresh water. Be sure to bury your waste and take the trash out to dump at the campground. Use the money for supplies, like a tent, sleeping bag, backpack, a good knife, bow and arrows if you don't already have.

This has to be a kid, because if it were an adult, they'd be wishing for 1 million !!
$83 and change per month doesn't go too far, but I would have to say go down to the women's shelter who have been abused physically or mentally, take them out for the day.. different woman each month, make them feel special

good question...I would feed myself for less than $20 a week. That seems too simple though...it means I'm leaving off somebody else. The library offers free books and movie rentals so no entertainment needed. And I would do a lot of bike riding and walking for transportation...cannot afford a drop of gas.

I guess I'd have to marry a rich man b/c $1000 wouldn't be enough for me for 2 weeks, much less a year. Grown people have bills and things.

Wisely. A thousand dollars does not go very far in this economy. Good Luck.

If I could do it starting with what I have in my house now, no problem. (I maintain a years supply of food, etc). Otherwise, move to a less expensive country.
