Great question!

3rd: Dismantle the Supreme Court for executive branch croni-ism.

4th: Investigate and duly punish the media moguls who conspired with the Bush regime to supress the 9/11 truth.

5th: Rewrite the constitution with the following changes at a minimum:
a. Eliminate the VP position.

c. Establish standards (initially and annually) for national political service similar to doctors, lawyers, CPA's, etc.
d. Conduct annual audits of all members of congress and the president.
e. Pare the national budget back to its size (adjusting for inflation) in 1913 and replace the progressive income tax with a flat tax not to exeed 10%.
f. Eliminate the "Federal" reserve.
g. Annually audit the World Bank and the IMF.
h. Term limits on congressmen.
i. Corporate campaign contributions are unlawful
j. Individual contributions are unlawful if the individual owns more than a 5% interst in any for-profit entity, foreign or domestic.

l. A minimum of 5 political parties must be established.
m. The budget must be balanced each and every year.
n. ACCOUNTABILITY MUST BE INVOKED INTO THE CONSTITUTION!!!
o. Finding and utilizing an alternative to oil is mandated!

This is only a start. The country is as close to lost as it has ever been, mostly due to the elites suppressing the weak through clever deception and collusion. I hope this can be accomplished peacefully, but if not, the military needs to step up.

A big kick in the pants to the people who are apathetic and lazy. Stop allowing the scum at the top to run amock. Wake up to the reality that power and size doesn't mean better. Americans are also people.. just like everywhere else. Get off the high horse. Allow teachers to teach. Disciplne children. Wake up to the fact that our education and health system is disgraceful. All men/women are NOT created equal, otherwise everyone would be rich. Help All citizens have a decent standard of living.

Times change, nations grow and change with time. Living in the past does nothing to secure your future. This country survives and thrives because of the ingenuity of her people, respect for our Constitution, and deep love of country. You are one of the privileged few people on Earth who helps control your own destiny by voting and having a voice in the government. If you don't like the current state of the union, do something to try to change that. Whatever makes you feel useful - whether it is charity work or being involved in politics or something else altogether. You are lucky to live here, realize it, celebrate it and be happy.

We're already at the front of the pack. People are willing to risk their lives for the chance to live here. Name 1 other country that can say that.

Things weren't so great in Lincoln's time. There were no phones, TV's, blacks were property, the country was torn to pieces in a civil war.
In MLK's time, blacks were second class citizens, got beat, dogs set loose on them, firehoses turned on them.

I'd say the world is getting much better!

Eliminate "political correctness" and "diversity" --- these are the poisons which are bringing our country to its knees. If we fail to do that, we will soon be considered a third world nation.
