he has been getting sick lately and his belly is really swollen. what should we do.

If you are serious........
1) you and your friend are both stupid
2) yes he could have worms and should see a doctor.

BTW, it's probably tapeworms. They are most likely to be passed in feces, and the dog probably has them because he has fleas. And yes, the dog should be dewormed too.

congratulations you've reached a new level of stupid. o.k for one you do not feed people something that is in dog feces. you not feed people worms from a dog and yes your friend is probably sick in less he is going to have a baby but i drought that get him to a doctor the dog to a vet and your self to a counselor.

it sounds like he ate a round worm and this is extremely serious. a website i read says that "Once they enter the child host, they can migrate to the child's liver, lungs eyes or brain and become permanently encysted." Get this kid to a hospital NOW and also get the dog to a vet soon.

Tell someone right away!!! Your friend could die!!! And since some worms have to leave the body to lay eggs, he could scratch the area and pass the eggs on to someone else.

for future reference dumb@$$....the stuff on fear factor is boiled or whatever it takes to get it where its safe for humans. They dont just take out the cow tongue and make you eat it! I hope you aren't a child, if so the future of america is definitely in jeopardy!
