How about Zachariah instead of Zachary.....Therefore it's still Zach, but not Zachary, which is very common.......

Zachary Ryan spelled the way you have it is the best spelling, remember your son will have to spell it many times on his school papers and his teachers may argue with him about the spelling. My neighbors named their eldest daughter Jessie and some teachers argued with her saying that her name is Jessica, when her name on her birth certificate is Jessie. Also I personally have two middle names with the initials JD and I have a college professor that argues with me to this day that the admissions office misspelled my middle name saying that it should be Jo. Keep your son's name simple so he doesn't have to argue with people all his life about how to spell his name.
